Service degradation: VPC Endpoints Error Rates and Timeouts

We are investigating increased error rates and timeouts for requests made via Amazon VPC Endpoints to Amazon S3 or Amazon DynamoDB in the US-EAST-1 Region. We are working on resolving the issue, and while the initial impact has been mitigated, we continue to experience periods of increased error rates and timeouts via Amazon VPC Endpoints. Traffic to Amazon S3 and Amazon DynamoDB via the public endpoints is not affected.

Between 5:57 AM and 7:02 AM PDT and between 8:07 AM and 9:12 AM PDT , we experienced intermittent periods of increased error rates and timeouts for requests made via Amazon VPC Endpoints to Amazon S3 and Amazon DynamoDB in the US-EAST-1 Region. Traffic to Amazon S3 and Amazon DynamoDB via the public endpoints, and all other Amazon VPC functionality was not affected by this issue. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.
