Delays in Postgres Write Ahead Log archiving

A number of professional tier Postgres database will have errors in their logs relating to a failed WAL (write ahead log) archiving process. This has been identified and fixed by our engineers, but will have resulted in a delay to the archiving process which powers follower dbs and heroku pg:rollback commands. As well as the errors in the logs, this will also cause some follower databases to be behind by more commits that usual, but this should be resolved over time as they finish processing the backlog. Our engineers will continue to monitor this situation until all processes have caught up.

Increased failure rates for Node.js application builds

Node.js apps may be unable to fetch modules via NPM, resulting in a 502 error. Applications which have not changed package.json are likely to be unaffected but any changes to dependencies may result in the build failing - this is due to a provider issue.

From July 6th 00:15 to 00:44 UTC HTTP requests to the US region experienced an increase in latency. This was due to an increase in request load in the region.
