Services Experiencing Downstream Impact from Azure Active Directory

From 03 Dec 2015 09:00 to 12:49 UTC, engineers engaged on an Azure Active Directory issue which had downstream impact on some Azure services that had dependencies on Azure Active Directory. Customers would have experienced portal access issues for the AZURE MANAGEMENT PORTALS from both http://portal.azure.com and http://manage,windowsazure.com. AZURE DATA CATALOGUE and OPERATIONAL INSIGHTS portals were also inaccessible during this time. STREAM ANALYTICS customers with jobs using PowerBI outputs would not have been able to see data going to those outputs. REMOTE APP customers would have experienced failures when attempting to connect to their Remote App instances. VISUAL STUDIO TEAM SERVICES would have observed intermittent 500 Internal Server Errors when attempting to access their account. A subset of SQL DATABASE customers would not have been able to connect to their Databases. Engineering have confirmed that the impact was largely confined to West Europe and North Europe, however customers using services in other regions may have experienced impact.
